This book is short, very motivating, and an easy read, chock full of good information if you adhere to the principles. My only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to read in the beginning, getting used to the pseudo-ancient speech.Nevertheless, I recommend it to everyone.
Debt collectors, harassing phone calls, etc. I had a good job but not a penny to my name.I was given this book by the man that saved my life, Jay Stokes.
Freedom. Follow what it says and you'll never have a problem again."He was right and the book rings true today, some 30 years later.
He said to me, " Read this, then read it again and again, till you know it by hart. I'm no longer a credit card slave.
In my early twenties, I was in trouble. There was also the stress and depression, that comes with financial problems.
My house is paid off and I have money in the bank working for me.
Everything was good except for a crease in the cover that may have occurred during shipping.
This book successfully teaches ways to understand money and how it works by embedding the principals in a story format that is able to keep your attention much better than a lot of books that are written from more of a technical aspect. Of all of the personal finance books I've read, this one continues to stand out as one of the most powerful and memorable. Absolutely brilliant and timeless.
However the contents of this book are all real. It is hard to believe that this book is fictional. Its power is based on the the mindset of the reader. It is not the principles of this book that is genius but the reason for the principles. Read this book and you will grow wiser. It is.
Once again, it is not the principles you read that makes it special it is the reasons for the principles. This book is a display of writing and teaching at its best. This book is a old book, but its content is protected by the writer ability to allow wisedom to flow within him on to paper. This book can be the second best book to read to an open and insightful reader or the worst book.
